I'm working on my now cracking void egg and I'm stuck. I have gotten to the point where the egg gave me glyph descriptions and I imputed them to the portal. The egg says it conjours visions of pink and blue. The portal took me to a galaxy that only has 4 planets. I've landed on each one twice, two nights in a row.
Cracked void eggs or any other kind of disturbed void egg are totally useless to everyone except the person who activated them. Some players don't realize this and give them away when they've finished the Starbirth mission thinking they're helping out, but unfortunately that isnt the case. Sorry Traveller.

Bugged Starbirth strikes again. Ok, I hate this quest. Beyond the awful design it has, I'm stuck with a bug that seems to have no way out. I'm at the "Follow the call of the Void Egg" segment, and the quest objective is stuck in Gods know which system deep in the galaxy. Make sure you are in the Euclid Galaxy first, then find a portal in Euclid and enter the portal coordinates. The planet you walk out onto is the planet you need. It won't work if you are in Eissentam and using a portal there. Also make sure the glyphs you are using are the correct ones... again while in Euclid.The void eggs are only good for selling and for gifting to a few villagers.
